The design of the Tabernacle, with its table and utensils, speak of God’s hospitality and invitation into fellowship with Him. 

Jem Howe preaches from Exodus 25:23-30 on how God has prepared a table for us.

Putting the Law ( and later Aarons’s rod and the Manna)  into the ark recalled their past, so as to remind them to keep obeying and depending on God in the future. 

The Tabernacle teaches us to expect, and teaches us how to seek, God’s holy presence.

The Tabernacle teaches us to put atonement through sacrifice at the heart of our worship.

God had a pattern for building the Tabernacle and Temple, likewise, He has a pattern for building His New Covenant house - the church.

God dwelt in a special way in the Tabernacle and Temple, but these foreshadow His dwelling in His people - the church

God provides for each of us so as to contribute to His work and the building of His church
