Jesus, through His suffering and death, has washed us of sin and opens the way for us to be filled with His presence by the Spirit who fills us with peace.

Even on the darkest days, Jesus wants us to generously pour out our worship, which is a beautiful thing and the most important things that we do.

During these ‘Last Days’ there are many things that test our faith and love, so let’s be aware and prepared so as to remain faithful and loving.

Jesus wants us to bear good fruit which will be seen in our making space for Him in worship.

Matt preaches from Luke 10. Jesus wants us to be involved in His harvest so let’s pray, sow, reap and send.

To be a disciple requires that we leave our old lives and live a new life as Jesus’ disciples. So don’t look back or go back, but keep looking ahead to where Jesus is leading.

Following Jesus must take precedence even over those who are dear to us or customs that are expected of us.

Following Jesus may well cost us in terms of career, income and respect.

Like Jesus, our obedience to God may well earn our rejection or disrespect.

Jesus knows the cost of following God as He went to the cross and He both sets us the example and will give us the grace to imitate Him in costly obedience.
